I've found there is an open feature request, CR 726510, to update backupserver and sybmultbuf to 64-bits on AIX. There is an engineer assigned to it, but no customer cases are associated yet, so opening a Support case on the issue could help the CR's priority.

Ah ok i get it now. It is pretty interesting that it seems like the compound column is stored physically and not "created on-the-fly" like a virtual column in the RDBMS that i am aware of.

Hi Mayank,
This can haapen if your DI API uses a different License Server than the B1 application.
Compare the License Server settings in both b1-local-machines.xml files. TheB1 application is under C:\program files (x86)\SAP\Sap Business One\Conf and the other is under C:\program files (x86)\SAP\Sap DI API\Conf.
Note that the path C:\program files (x86) can be different in your computer.

For most of object types in SBO, you can use Application.OpenForm method. The benefit of just activating the MenuItem is that the mothod returns a From object representing the form just opened.
Another benefit is that this method enables you to give an ObjectKey as parameter and the new opened form will display this record automatically.

Since 2009, we have been running our web dynpro applications within the SAPGui using Function Module WDY_EXECUTE_IN_PLACE and the Class CL_GUI_WDR_VIEWER.
When we applied Support Pack this June (SAP_BASIS 731 SAPKB73106), our users have been reporting issues where they sometimes get the message "Service cannot reached" or "Session not found" in the web dynpro application.
Here's what happens:
1. They run the web dynpro application. It opens in SAPGui though an HTML Container using the function module and methods I mentioned earlier.
2. They navigate through the application.
3. They sometime leave their session open and do other things.
4. When they come back to their session, they occasionally get the error "Service cannot be reached" / "Session not found". And in case they were in the middle of something and haven't saved their changes yet, those changes are gone. They would have to re-run the application again.
But this does not happen consistently which is making it difficult for us to narrow down what's causing the issue. Sometimes they leave their session for 10 minutes and they come back to it and still works fine. Sometime they just leave it for a couple of minutes and when they come back their session is lost.
It's as if the session is timing out quicker than it should but actually the session is breaking or getting lost for some odd and mysterious reason.
At this point we are grasping at straws. It could be a Windows version issue, or Microsoft IE. But none of that cannot be confirmed.
We tried the recommendations in SAP Note 1679126. But this did not fix our issue. Attached is a brief documentation of what we did in relation to that note.
Any info you have regarding this issue would be very much appreciated.

Strange... We use Fiddler quite extensively with the Byd Predefined Web services as well and the many we have created in bydesign.. I agree with the third party (we actually have a message inspector for logging... )

I need to find difference in years between the current time stamp and REF_DT time stamp . I figured to use now() function to get current time stamp .
The is the expression i tried to get the year

I am not sure why the numeric 6 in the first argument . In fact i am not sure how to define 1st numeric argument .
Any help on how to use timestamp Diff ()
usage timestamp DIff ( Expression : NUmeric ,First argument:Date Time , Second argument DateTime)

You have WBS with planned costs and actual costs, at the end of the month you settle the actual cost to the AuC.
Is this correct?
To analize ( actual vs plan) you need to continue using WBS ...

We had simillar requirement and are almost done with the system setup. As per the testing that we have done, it is not possible to generate the Voucher code without having the Communication medium as "E-Mail".
In that case, we can restrict the E-mail "not to be sent" through enhancement.
